Taylor Swift shows off colorful lockdown locks in summery new photo-shoot

Lockdown has inspired quite a few hair experiments.

And Taylor Swift proved that she has joined the party on Instagram this Saturday, adding colorful highlights to her signature blonde look.

The 30-year-old pop star modeled a bright floral blouse as she posed for a couple of photos with the sun blazing behind her.

She added to the summery effect of the photo-shoot by accessorizing with a pair of white-rimmed cat-eye sunglasses.

Taylor’s latest Instagram post was a promotion for her upcoming concert special City Of Lover which will be broadcast on ABC at 10pm EST this Saturday.

After the new special airs on TV it will be available to stream on both Hulu and Disney+ beginning this Sunday.

The concert was filmed last September at the Olympia in Paris, a venue that has hosted acts ranging from Edith Piaf to Red Hot Chili Peppers to Abdel Halim Hafez.

Taylor’s City Of Lover show was a play on a popular nickname for Paris as well as her own latest album Lover, which dropped two weeks before this concert.

Although she was meant to go on tour promoting the album this year, the coronavirus pandemic has caused that plan to be delayed.

As a result City Of Lover, which Taylor called ‘the best album release party I could’ve wished for’ on Instagram this Saturday, is to date her only concert plugging Lover. 

She gave a live debut to multiple Lover songs at the Paris gig to an audience made up of contest winners pulled from 37 nations, according to Variety.

Last year Taylor joined a star-studded cast including Jennifer Hudson, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Jason Derulo, Rebel Wilson, Idris Elba and James Corden in a movie adaptation of Cats that was widely mocked and became a massive flop.
