Kate Upton is enjoying some quality family time as she self-quarantines with husband Justin Verlander and daughter Genevieve.

But the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and Houston Astros pitcher are also making an effort to give back amid the growing coronavirus pandemic.

He pledged Saturday to donate his MLB paychecks to a different organization each week of the coronavirus pandemic, as he’s continuing to get paid while the league takes a hiatus.

The 37-year-old wrote: ‘Recently the @mlb announced they will be continuing to send paychecks to players while the season is suspended. 

‘@kateupton and I have decided to donate those funds to a different organization each week so that we can support their efforts and highlight the great work they’re doing during the COVID-19 crisis.’   

He continued: ‘Everyone around the world is affected by this virus, and we hope to contribute to the families and jobs affected, the healthcare workers and first responders on the front lines and the many others in need of basic necessities, medical supplies and support at home.’ 

In addition to their weekly donations, he and Upton, 27, revealed that they’ll be highlighting each organization and their work.

Verlander concluded: ‘We know everyone is impacted by this crisis, but for those who are able, we encourage you to stay home to help flatten the curve and look to those around you who need a helping hand.’

According to Forbes, his is the highest-ever average annual salary for a MLB pitcher in the league’s 150+ year history.

He recently posted a photo with his family as they watched an old game on TV during quarantine, writing: ‘Forcing the family to watch my 2007 no hitter streaming on @mlb. “You’ll sit here and watch it and like it.”’

Verlander and Upton tied the knot during a Tuscan ceremony in 2017, welcoming their first child Genevieve, one, in 2018.
