While many Americans are struggling to lay off the snacks amid coronavirus state lockdowns, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has found many ways to pass the time.
The billionaire, who has already pledged $1billion of his personal fortune, to help battle the coronavirus pandemic, has previously spoken about his strict diet and exercise regimen, which includes multiple ice baths, sauna sessions, meditation and short workouts.
The 43-year-old’s only daily meal is dinner, but he won’t eat at all on weekends.
Dorsey eats dinner between 6.30pm and 9pm and usually enjoys fish, chicken, or steak with a salad or a side of vegetables and has berries or dark chocolate for dessert.
He has ditched warm showers altogether and he walks the distance between his home and Twitter headquarters to make sure his mind stays sharp.
Dorsey claims the routine makes his days feel longer and says he’s able to switch off to get ample sleep every night.
He will allow himself red wine on occasion but notes it interrupts his sleep if he has too much.

Despite access to the top fitness experts being a possibility, Dorsey, who works from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, simply does seven minutes of exercise per day using the Seven app.
‘I don’t have a personal trainer. I don’t go to a gym,’ Dorsey previously admitted.
But he gets additional exercise in by walking briskly for an hour and 15 minutes every day to work, allowing him to soak up some vitamin D through sun rays.
Dorsey was vegan for two years but switched to the paleo diet after his mother pointed out he was turning orange from too much beta kerotine.
On a daily basis, Dorsey alternates between a 37-degree ice bath and a 220-degree barrel sauna for 15 minutes.
He follows up his first sauna of the day with a ‘salt shake’ for breakfast – a mix of salt, water and lemon. This is the only thing he consumes until his evening meal.
He completes three ice baths and three sauna sessions daily, according to Vanity Fair.
That would mean he spends a total of 45 minutes in a sauna that’s only 10 degrees cooler than when World Sauna Championship competitors collapsed after spending only six minutes in a sauna.
Dorsey previously posted online about dealing with stress through Vipassana meditation and even went to Myanmar in 2018 for a ‘retreat’ where there’s no reading, writing, or devices allowed.

The technology enthusiast often spent 4.30am to 9pm meditating.
Last month, Twitter reached an investment deal with Silver Lake and Elliott Management that has kept Dorsey as CEO.
The social media company announced the deal on March 9, giving Elliott a seat on the board just over a week after the activist hedge fund pushed for Dorsey’s removal.
Under the deal, private equity firm Silver Lake will invest $1billion in Twitter and also get a board seat.
Twitter said it would use the investment and its own cash to fund a $2billion stock buyback.
Elliott and its billionaire founder Paul Singer acquired a $1billion stake in Twitter on February 28 and launched a campaign to remove Dorsey after the CEO announced last fall that he would be moving to Africa in mid-2020.
Among Singer’s concerns about Dorsey was his divided attention between his roles at Twitter and Square, the payments company he co-founded.
Investors also raised concerns over how Dorsey would run both companies if he was to move to Africa for half a year.
Around the same time, Dorsey backtracked on his decision to move to Africa and announced that it would be a ‘mistake’. Dorsey also said he made his decision in part due to the coronavirus pandemic.
