Married At First Sight’s Jake Edwards goes from being clean shaven to having a full beard

Married At First Sight suffered an editing fail during Monday’s episode, and it didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

Eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but point out that one of the show’s grooms, Jake Edwards, kept alternating between having a beard and being clean shaven.

‘WTF Jake had no beard last night and suddenly has a week old looking stubble. WTF Channel Nine,’ tweeted one viewer. 

Despite appearing clean shaven at the commitment ceremony on Sunday night, Jake, 32, had a full beard the very next day.

After voting ‘leave’ at the previous night’s commitment ceremony, Rebecca Zemek went to meet with Jake to discuss their conflicting feelings about their relationship.

But after showing off his smooth complexion the previous night, Jake had a visible beard seemingly less than 24 hours later.

Another scene showed Jake talking to the camera about his conversation with Beck, 27, and he was once again clean shaven.

When it cut back to his scene with Beck though, Jake’s beard had magically returned. 

As the scenes cut and change, Jake’s appearance kept changing, alternating between having a beard and being clean shaven.

It’s likely the scenes were filmed out of sequence, but cut to appear as though they had all taken place within a small window of time.

But the appearance and disappearance of Jake’s beard created a continuity error for the hit Channel Nine reality show.
