Fears for radio host Kyle Sandilands after he fails to show up for work and doesn’t answer his phone – as worried Jackie ‘O’ Henderson sends a producer to his home for a welfare check
Radio presenter Kyle Sandilands sparked fears for his welfare on Wednesday when he didn’t show up for his usual breakfast shift at Sydney’s top-rating breakfast show.
The KIIS FM star, 49, offered no explanation for his absence and colleagues couldn’t contact him because his phone was turned off – something Sandilands rarely does.
His panicked co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and newsreader Brooklyn Ross started the show at 6am by expressing fears for his welfare.
They sent a producer, John Nicholson, to Sandilands’ house in Sydney’s eastern suburbs to see if he was okay.
More to come.
