Former Bachelorette Angie Kent has never shied away from discussing her skin problems.
And on Wednesday, she told fans she was using an Instagram filter because the pigmentation on her forehead was making her feel ‘extremely self-conscious’.
The 30-year-old explained her condition was ‘that bad’ she needed to blur her imperfections using camera trickery.

She discussed how she was dealing with the pigmentation on her forehead.
‘It’s the worst it’s ever been, I’m currently working with my naturopathy to wean myself off the [contraceptive] pill,’ she said.
‘But it is hard being an endometriosis sufferer. It’s quiet the process.’

The reality star’s hormonal pigmentation is a condition known as melasma.
Melasma is a skin condition which often occurs due to hormonal changes and fluctuations, and can be triggered by UV light from the sun.
While each person is different, dermatologists recommend a number of treatments including serums and oils to help with the condition.

Angie said she would also be seeing a specialist regarding her recent health concerns after undergoing keyhole surgery for endometriosis back in August.

She undergoes facial treatments to help with acne scarring, in addition to getting Botox injections to prevent fine lines.
Angie said in 2019: ‘I am not going to lie, I have dabbled in Botox.
‘I love me some Botox and I have suffered with acne scars so I am all about getting skin treatments, but don’t expect me to get a boob job. I am quite happy with my little breasts.’
