Hundreds of young people packed into an all-night illegal warehouse rave in London on Saturday night, social media footage has revealed.
Videos shared online showed a crowd of ravers ignore social distancing rules to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in a packed Barking venue in front of a live DJ.
Party-goers grinned for the camera and danced under strobe lighting in scenes that are likely to cause another spike in Covid-19 infections.
Many had their cameras out as they pumped their fists in the air in time to the music, in footage that has now sparked a police probe.
London is currently in Tier 2 to try to bring the spread of coronavirus under control. It means people living in different households are banned from meeting inside.

Some abused a woman for reporting the incident to the Met Police on Twitter, calling her a ‘snitch’.
A raver added: ‘First rule of secret policeman’s ball is don’t tell, yet here they are.’
In a now deleted Twitter post, people also shared Covid-19 conspiracy theories.
It comes as cops shut down another illegal rave in Stanmer Park, Brighton, at about 2.30am on Sunday, dispersing some 200 party-goers.
Cops warn that organisers of illegal raves can be fined £10,000 for breaking Covid-19 restrictions.
As of Sunday, there had been more than 870,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in the UK and nearly 45,000 deaths.
