Rapper 42 Dugg is apologizing to his fans after unleashing a controversial homophobic rant on his Instagram story.

The 25-year-old Detroit native (real name) released the rant in response to a viral video seen of him kissing and licking his three-year-old son’s neck on an airplane.

While many saw the video as simply innocent fun between a father and son, others saw it differently which lead to the rant where he let loose some homophobic language that he’s now apologizing for.

The original rant happened over the weekend, which began, ‘Ain’t nobody going for that gay a** hoe a** s**t y’all on, y’all quit to get on some GAY B***H A** S**T BUT WHEN A N***A JUMP DOWN ON ONE YOU CALL SOMEBODY OUT.’

‘WE HOMOPHOBIC, DON’T NOBODY GIVE A F**K ABOUT THAT S**T Y’ALL DON’T NONE US THAT’S IT,’ he added.

The rapper continued that entertainers, ‘are not here to coach you on life,’ adding, ‘if I say I’m not with that gay s**t that’s where y’all should leave it.

He also told fans to stop, ‘tryna shove that s**t down n****s throats,’ before seemingly throwing some shade at Lil Nas X.

The rapper then took to his Instagram story over the weekend to apologize for the rant, stating, ‘It never be my intentions to offend anybody even when I’m offended so for that I am sorry.’

He added that he’s normally, ‘a very private person when it comes to personal s**t such as my son and family.’

He continued that fans are telling him to ‘take more pictures’ and show more of his life besides music, adding he didn’t post pictures of his son for ‘feedback.’
