Intruder alert! Lily Price leaves fans divided as she arrives at The Bachelor mansion in a CRANE

Crane operator Lily Price commanded attention when she dropped into the rose ceremony unannounced during Wednesday night’s premiere of The Bachelor.

But despite impressing Jimmy Nicholson, fans watching from home couldn’t help voicing their mixed opinions about the 23-year-old’s grand entrance on the show.

‘Love that the other girls did not let Lily steal the show [with] some flashy (and unfair?) entrance,’ one viewer tweeted.

‘How’s Lily coming in on the crane? Do less babe,’ wrote a second, unimpressed with her attention-seeking entrance.

Another commented: ‘I hope when she gets eliminated she hops back on the crane.’

Meanwhile, a fourth viewer was perplexed about the whole state of play.

‘Someone explain to me how the producers decide who to drop in with a crane,’ they wrote.

Meanwhile, another eagle-eyed viewer praised the efforts the television crew had to go to pull off Lily’s arrival.

‘Shout out to the production assistant who covered that crane cage in fake roses and vines. You are a real one,’ they wrote.

Jimmy was midway through meeting Sydney-personal trainer Elena Wee when the contestants noticed a large crane hovering over the courtyard of the mansion.

Incoming! 'Mr Bachelor, is there room for one more in the cocktail party?' Lily asked through her walkie talkie. Jimmy promptly responded: 'Yeah, sure. I mean, let's do it'

To which Jimmy, who was also holding one, replied: ‘Yeah, sure. I mean, let’s do it.’

‘As long as you don’t make me come up there, it’s fine… I’m scared of heights,’ the pilot joked.
