Former WAG Danielle Hardwick launches new initiative to support Indigenous artists

Former WAG Danielle Hardwick reveals her stunning new move… months after her AFL supercoach husband Damien left her to be with a younger club staffer

Her Richmond Tigers coach husband Damien Hardwick has moved on with a younger woman after the couple split last year.

But Danielle Hardwick’s life is moving forward too, with the former WAG launching a new initiative to help Indigenous artists, according to the Herald Sun on Wednesday.

And in a nod to her past with the three-time premiership winning AFL coach, she has named the venture Ms Hardwick + Co.

‘I am developing a platform mshardwickco, on Instagram to start, to give exposure and promote original pieces of art by young aspiring artists, some Indigenous along with current established artists,’ Hardwick told the newspaper.

She is also and ambassador for the Need A Tutor initiative.

‘Both these endeavours are built on my personal life philosophies of integrity, being dignified along with using resources to have a voice where it’s most important.’

Meanwhile back in March, her AFL supercoach ex went public with his new romance.

Damien rocked the sporting world in December with the news that he had separated from wife and the mother of his three children Danielle, whom he often referred to in the media as ‘Mrs Hardwick’.

Hardwick, 48, is now in a relationship with Tigers sales representative Alexandra Crow, which is believed to have started during the club’s quarantine bubble in Queensland during the 2020 season.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale told 3AW Hardwick’s break-up was ‘intensely personal and private and sensitive’.

‘I think we’re all very saddened to see the end of a 30 year-relationship – I think that’s the natural response. But these things happen, as sad as they are,’ he said.

‘Damien’s been a very, very good coach for our football club and has continued to be so.

‘He has a relationship with a person who happens to be an employee at a club – and that happens.

‘We have policies in place and guidelines which help manage that – and at the end of the day, we were satisfied everything was in place, the course of action followed.’
