Rochelle revealed that a month prior to giving birth to Blake she went on the hunt for supplements that could help with her hair growth post-partum, as she had experienced it when she welcomed daughters Alaia-Mai and Valentina.

She explained: ‘I asked you guys what hair supplements and vitamins you found really useful post partum because you know you dread that bit don’t you around five-ish months where you get that [indicating hair loss].

‘You know it’s going to happen, but third baby in I’m kind of a bit wiser to it and I wanted to start on a course of good supplements that Blake kindly took out, love you Blake.

‘So I did a little Q&A because prior to that I wasn’t a big supplement taker and I did a Q&A and it was literally a unanimous answer, JSHealth Vitamins.’

The former Saturdays singer – who has Alaia-Mai, eight, Valentina, four, and Blake, eight months, with husband Marvin Humes – said that becoming a parent for the first time aged 23 didn’t ‘hit’ her.

Rochelle explained that her life didn’t change when she first became a mother, as much as it did when her second child was born.

Speaking to Roxie Nafousi on her podcast The Moments That Made Me, the presenter said: ‘It didn’t so much hit me after one as much because I was young when I had Alaia, I was 23.

‘Once I had Vally, and I had two children, I know it sounds silly but in my mind I was like, “Oh I’m a proper mum now!”

‘Alaia came along and it changed our lives, but we were still so young so I was still doing all the things that I did before.’

The singer-turned-TV presenter also credits parenthood for making her more confident in other aspects of her life.

Rochelle said: ‘Having children definitely taught me to stand up for myself a bit more. And it’s OK to say no to things.’

And although she’s now a busy mother of three, Rochelle said of her career: ‘I feel like I’m just beginning, I feel like I have a whole new lease of life!’
