Tania welcomed the two-and-a-half-year-olds with the help of two anonymous donor eggs, which were then implanted.

The renowned Bollywood star said she was inspired by other older mums, including Sonia Kruger and Mary Coustas, who also used donor eggs.

Tania shares them with her partner of nine years, Chris Rogers, and said even though it’s difficult with twins, she couldn’t imagine having only one child.

‘Every day they melt my heart with things they say and do. Like when they wake up in the mornings giving me cuddles saying, “I love you Mummy, I missed you when I was sleeping,”‘ she said.

She added: ‘I seriously don’t remember what life was like without them, and I don’t want to.’

Tania acknowledged that ‘there are moments when I do feel like pulling my hair out’, and admitted ‘with twins everything happens times two’.

Alby and Kenzie were born five weeks prematurely after Tania was hospitalised with pre-eclampsia, a pregnancy complication which causes a spike in the blood pressure of expectant mothers.

She said the twins share a ‘beautiful bond’ and are ‘very protective of each other’.

Tania said Chris, 37, has proven to be the ‘perfect dad’, and ‘he spoils them rotten with love and affection’.

Referencing her role as host on Who Dares Win, an adventure game show that first aired on Channel Seven from 1996 until 1998, Tania said her twins are also fearless.

‘They’re not scared of anything. We take them out on the jet ski or on Chris’ fishing boat,’ she said.

‘We’re very outdoorsy and with my background on Who Dares Wins, they were always going to have some action and adventure in their lives.’
