Woman’s body is found in a charity clothes bin outside a busy shopping centre

  • Body of a woman found by a member of the public in clothing bin in south Perth

A person leaving for work made a gruesome discovery in a charity clothing bin outside their home early on Tuesday, with the discovery of a body.

The body is believed to be a woman and was found in a Good Sammys bin outside Stockland Baldivis shopping centre in Perth’s southern suburbs by a member of the public around 5am on Tuesday.

Rockingham police are currently investigating, reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to possible witnesses.

Early reports say the incident is not believed to be suspicious and a car found nearby the centre, on Norseman Approach, could belong to the victim, Perthnow reported.

A 9News reporter on the scene said a neighbour living nearby found the body when they were leaving home for work around 5am.

The body has not yet been identified.
