It’s no secret that MasterChef favourite Poh Ling Yeow has an ageless visage.

And on Thursday, the culinary great shared a throwback photo from the 1990s proving she looks like she hasn’t aged a day since.

‘Throw back to my mid 20s and early make-up & hair days, doing my first drag queen in my Norwood flat kitchen,’ she captioned the picture.

In the image, Poh is sporting a classic bob, and appears to be concentrating as she paints the face of a male friend who was dressing up in drag.

This glimpse at a younger Poh comes after fans were left stunned in December when the Malaysian-born cook shared a Birthday selfie and revealed her real age.

At the time, Poh wrote in the caption: ’47 last Friday. Celebrated with popiah, Mee Siam and ice kachang at the folks’ place.’

‘Quiet and small the way I like it,’ the culinary queen added about how she spent her birthday.

Fans were quick to compliment the chef on her age-defying visage, with one writing: ‘As IF you are 47?!’

Another echoed the disbelief: ‘No way! If you said 27, I would’ve believed you!’

‘Timeless happy belated birthday Poh,’ a fan shared, while another said: ‘You are so eternally youthful Poh.’

Poh’s birthday post comes after she revealed she ‘never really identified with being female or Asian’, in a candid interview on the ABC series Stan Grant’s One Plus One.

Last year, she revealed how she never wanted to be defined by her background after migrating to Australia from Malaysia at the age of nine.

Interestingly, she also said she didn’t identify strongly with being a woman.

‘I’ve never really identified with being female or Asian or anything. I really just want to do interesting things,’ Poh revealed.

‘I think being in the media, it’s something I really fought hard to break down… people will think that they like you and they’re very quick to decide why without really digging deep.’
