A fleet-footed bargain hunter can pick up a pair of $1,450 designer sneakers for just $330 after they were donated to a charity shop.

An eagle-eyed shopper spotted a pair of hot pink Balenciaga trainers in the window of a Lifeline store in Mosman before sharing a photo of the steal on Facebook.

‘Little bit of op-shop window shopping today,’ she wrote.

‘Lifeline selling Balenciaga trainers. [This would only happen] in Mossman.’

The woman could not confirm the not-for-profit’s asking price, but a woman who said she worked there gave details.

She said the women’s track sneakers were delivered brand new – and were marked down $1,100.

‘I was volunteering when they came in – new and in the box. Size 36. Priced at Lifeline, $350,’ she said.

‘I believe this Lifeline carries high end donations and does charge for them,’ another added.

‘Actually not only in Mosman – I found some awesome D & G heels in another store and they’re almost as comfortable as trainers and were $30,’ one person wrote.

‘Life line Cremorne has the real treasures too – Gucci shoes and designer bags,’ someone else commented.

‘I saw a pair of jimmy Choos for $695, clearly worn and second hand,’ a third wrote.
