‘I grew up in an institute where I was terrified to make mistakes. Gymnastics is all about being perfect,’ she said, noting that she has learned over the years that personal growth comes from mistakes.

‘So the show actually brought back quite a few triggers for me. I have to sort of just remind myself that it’s okay to make mistakes, whereas in Celebrity Apprentice, you felt like you were punished for doing so,’ she added.

The athlete, who took part in the 2008 Olympics, began training at eight-years-old and has gone on to compete World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and Commonwealth Games.
