Police launch urgent hunt for missing girl, 12, who was last seen in her school uniform in south London 24 hours ago

Police have launched an urgent search for a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen in her school uniform.

Tameda Khamara vanished from Camberwell, south London, yesterday. 

The youngster was last seen wearing a grey skirt, white shirt and grey blazer.

Authorities said earlier today that they are ‘really concerned’ for her welfare. 

Southwark Police took to Twitter with an appeal for the public to get in touch with any information on Tameda’s whereabouts.

The post read: ‘#Missing Please help us find 12yr old Tameda Khamara missing from the #Camberwell area. 

‘Last seen on 09/06/21.

‘She was last seen wearing school uniform – grey skirt, white shirt, grey blazer.

‘We’re really concerned for her welfare – please call 999 if seen quoting 21MIS016556.’
