Nine reporter Laura Turner announces she’s pregnant and expecting her third child

Channel Nine reporter Laura Turner has announced her third pregnancy in the sweetest and most creative way. 

The journalist, who is already a proud mother to twin girls with husband Daniel McPherson, shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday. 

For the announcement, she created a short clip that looked like a news bulletin and was even helped by veteran news reporter, Peter Hitchener, 75. 

‘Hello, wonderful news. An addition coming soon to the Channel Nine News family,’ Peter says in the clip. 

‘Laura and Dan are having another baby… in the meantime, warmest congratulations to Laura and Dan on the wonderful news,’ Peter says in the clip, as he stands in front of a Channel Nine sign. 

After, Laura shares the news with her twin daughters, Isabel and Matilda, two.

‘Can I see the baby?’ one of her girls ask.

‘There’s a baby in mummy’s tummy, isn’t that so exciting?’ Laura says in the clip. 

She added alongside her announcement: ‘Three is the magic number.’ 

‘We’d love to share our wonderful news. Would also like to thank the beautiful Peter for being a part of our announcement once more,’ she finished.

In November 2018, Laura welcomed her twin daughters via an emergency C-section.  

Laura hails from Victoria and started her career at WIN TV in Ballarat.
