Roxy Jacenko furious over Celebrity Apprentice snub

She’s the socialite and public relations maven who has built an empire worth millions.

And Roxy Jacenko has been left fuming she wasn’t offered a place alongside Lord Alan Sugar on this season’s Celebrity Apprentice as an advisor to the show’s success-thirsty celebrities.

While Lord Sugar currently has Boost Juice boss Janine Allis and activewear founder Lorna Jane by his side, Roxy, 41, told The Kyle and Jackie O Show she was raging that producers didn’t consider her to join the line-up. 

‘Do you know what? I’m p****d off,’ the Sweaty Better PR founder said. ‘I think I should have been a Lorna Jane or a…’

‘You would have been great!’ Kyle Sandilands chimed in, with Jackie ‘O’ Henderson swiftly agreeing.

In a clearly light-hearted manner, Roxy added: ‘Reality TV isn’t something that I ever really wanted to do – but I do think I would have been good at that!’

‘You’re great at standing around and watching other people doing things wrong and pointing it out – I’m good at that too,’ Kyle jested.

‘But I have been watching it – Lord Sugar is an interesting character,’ Roxy added.

‘Just a grumpy old p***k,’ Kyle quipped.

Roxy has become known as quite the savvy businesswoman after founding Sweaty Betty in 2004.

She also runs two hair accessory brands and a candle business, and has appeared on a number of reality TV shows over the years – most recently, SAS Australia.

Meanwhile, Lord Alan Sugar is currently whittling down the competition on Celebrity Apprentice, with Scherri-Lee Biggs being fired on Monday night’s show.
