Filming from her bed while dressed in a loose-fitting blue top and beanie, Natalie told fans that she’s feeling ‘exhausted from walking partially because her body is sore from doing that’.

The influencer said that with her lung still ‘partially collapsed’, she is doing breathing exercises and completing five walks around the house every day.

Natalie revealed the side effects from not being able to move around as much, saying she’s lost all the muscle tone in her legs.

The Newcastle-born beauty prepared to undergo surgery to correct the curvature last month, which develops in roughly one in every 15 Australian girls during puberty from age nine to 14.

In a previous video on her Instagram Stories, Natalie said she was both ‘excited and terrified all at the same time’ about the operation.

Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine that typically develops during the growth spurt stage just before puberty.

While the condition, which is estimated to affect about three percent of teenagers worldwide, can be caused by disorders such as cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, the cause of most scoliosis is unknown.

What is scoliosis?

– According to Healthline.com, it is the ‘abnormal curvature of the spine’

– Signs or symptoms of the condition, which has various forms, include back pain, uneven hips, different shoulder blade levels

– Treatments include bracing or surgery depending on age or state of the condition

– Princess Eugenie was diagnosed with scoliosis as a child and at age 12 had surgery on her back

– She proudly showed off her surgery scar at her wedding in October 2018

Most cases are mild and resolve naturally, but some spine deformities worsen as children grow.

The most severe curvatures can dramatically reduce the amount of space within the chest cavity, making it difficult to breathe.

One of the most famous names who has suffered from scoliosis aside from Natalie Roser is Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter Princess Eugenie, who was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 11.

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson underwent corrective surgery one year later and used the resulting scar as inspiration for the design of her wedding dress.
