Costa summer menu: New golden caramel range and returning iced tea

Costa Coffee has delighted fans after announcing the launch of their new range, with drinks infused with golden caramel.  

The new Golden Caramel range features an array of handcrafted hot and iced coffee drinks and will be available across Costa Coffee stores nationwide from today.

Coffee lovers looking to try something new can opt for a Golden Caramel Latte or a Golden Caramel Cappuccino.

Both made using fresh coffee and frothy milk, with the addition of that all-important new Golden Caramel syrup and topped with eye-catching golden sprinkles.  

Those opting for a cold coffee on a hot day could also pick up a Golden Caramel Iced Cappuccino and Golden Caramel Iced Latte to shake up your classic iced coffee order.

There’s also a Golden Caramel Frostino with a light dairy swirl joins Costa Coffee’s Frostino family.

This delectable ice-based blended drink features the new buttery addition of the Golden Caramel syrup, a drizzle of salted caramel sauce and finished with a deliciously light whipped topping and golden sprinkles to finish.

All hot or iced coffee barista-made drinks can be made with either coconut, almond, oat and soya – so coffee lovers can enjoy any drink just the way they like it. 

Those not able to visit a Costa Coffee store won’t miss out on the new range; just visit one of the 10,000+ Costa Express machines located nationwide and choose either a Golden Caramel Latte or Golden Caramel Hot Chocolate on-screen when ordering. 

If you’re after a refreshing afternoon drink for a hot day in the sun, but fancy a change from your usual iced coffee, Costa Coffee welcomes the triumphant return of the popular classic Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade to the Summer menu. 

That’s not all, there’s even the Peach Iced Tea and Strawberry Iced Infusion to try.

The first Caffè Carluccio’s opened in partnership with Sainsbury’s in St Albans this week, brand owner, Boparan Restaurant Group, has announced plans to take on Costa with the roll out of 500 sites of the new concept in the next five years.

Alongside the retail partnership with Sainsbury’s, Boparan will be looking to roll out the Caffè Carluccio’s concept in travel hubs, city centres and neighbourhood locations across the UK, with a view to creating a genuine challenger brand to some of the nation’s biggest high street coffee shop brands.

Elsewhere, there’s more good news for fast food fans as Subway this week unveiled brand-new menu items including the Nacho Chicken Sub, Nacho Chicken Bites and Potato Crispers, which will be available across UK and Ireland, ahead of the nation’s summer of sport.

The new Nacho Chicken Sub is filled with tender chicken bites coated in deliciously crispy tortilla chips, served on crusty tiger bread with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mixed peppers and Subway’s famous Southwest sauce. Fully customisable, the new Nacho Chicken is available as a 6-inch or Footlong Sub on any bread, as a salad or a wrap for even more choice.

If snack-time hunger hits, then Subway’s new mouth-watering Nacho Chicken Bites are also available as a snack of 4, 6 or 9.
