The Scrubs actor, 46, was spotted at a dog park in Pasadena over the weekend, playing fetch with the enthusiastic rescue dog.
Working a sporty look, Zach looked ready to break a sweat wearing navy blue shorts, white Nike leggings and orange and grey trainers.

Allowing his dog to roam freely, he placed his pooch’s leash around his shoulders.
The actor was every inch the proud fur parent as he played fetch with his dog using an orange tennis ball launcher.
Billie looked as happy as can be enjoying a day in the sunshine with her owner.
As Billie played with the other pooches, Zach caught up with a fellow park attendee.

Seems as though a day of fresh air was exactly what the busy actor needed.
On top of his showbiz career, Zach is also in a relationship with actress Florence Pugh, 25, who has been busy promoting her upcoming spy thriller Black Widow.

Florence recently gushed about her beau in a heart-melting birthday tribute which included snaps of their rescue dog Billie.
‘It’s this magical persons birthday. A year ago we got Billie three days before Zach’s day and she’s flopped on her back for tummy tickles from him like this ever since. A special day for a special fella requires special foot wear and fluffy trackies.. obvi,’ she captioned the post.
