Martha Kalifatidis reveals the truth about The Veronicas on Celebrity Apprentice – claiming scenes were tweaked to be more dramatic
Martha Kalifatidis has revealed the truth about The Veronicas’ Jess and Lisa Origliasso on The Celebrity Apprentice.
Speaking on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday, the former MAFS star said that scenes featuring the sisters have been edited.
Calling the girls her ‘favourite two people’ on the show, Martha said she understood the twins’ frustration because all of the nice things they have done on the show have not been aired.

‘I get where their frustrations are coming from, there are some things that would have been nice to be included,’ Martha said.
Martha explained how Jessica and Lisa worked ‘so hard’ and wanted some kind of acknowledgement.
Martha recalled how the twins organised a ‘welcome to country’ on the bus tour challenge.
During tense scenes, they were shown to be unable to find the Aboriginal elder who they organised to conduct the ceremony.

‘They did find him and they did do the welcome to country,’ Martha said.
‘Oh, they cut it out like it didn’t happen?’ Kyle asked, confused.
‘Yeah,’ Martha added, with both Kyle and Jackie O shocked.
‘It was part of the storyline and made a great episode and I get it,’ Martha said, of the editing trick defending the producers.

Martha added the sisters are doing the show for their beloved mother.
‘Their mum is really ill [with Dementia],’ she said. ‘The they are doing this for her.’
Martha was affected by how close the girls are to their mother, with them FaceTiming her on ‘every lunch break’.
The pop stars recently slammed Nine for only showing the ‘drama’ and not focusing on their achievements or efforts to raise money for their chosen charity.
