Future hurls insults at ex Lori Harvey and ‘lame’ boyfriend Michael B. Jordan in new track

Rapper Future is not holding back when it comes to his opinions on ex Lori Harvey and her ‘lame’ new boyfriend Michael B. Jordan. 

The 37-year-old rapper seemed a bit scorned as he hurled insults on a new track called Maybach, taking aim at them individually and as a couple while adding a line about dad Steve Harvey for extra measure. 

‘She didn’t have a choice but to go f*** a lame after me,’ he rapped before firing off a few more disses along the way. 

Rapper 42 Dugg previewed an extended version of his new single Maybach on May 28, which was ripe with insults from collaborator Future. 

‘Tell Steve Harvey, I don’t want her,’ he said in one verse, before digging the knife a bit deeper as he took aim at her now blossoming relationship with the Creed actor. 

‘Must’ve forgot to tell her daddy she begged me not to leave … She didn’t have a choice but to go f*** a lame after me // Realest n**** hit the t*** she damn near OD,’ he continued. 

Future and the model dated for less than a year, debuting their romance in January 2020 before calling it quits months later in August.

The pair ignited split rumors before they announced they were officially broken up, as both deleted photos of the other on their Instagram and they unfollowed each other on social media. 

Lori and Michael went public with their romance in January 2021 and continue to show their affection for each other with over the top romantic gestures and lots of flirty comments. 

Just yesterday he referred to her as ‘LOML’ (love of my life) in an Instagram post and showered her with an over the top display of roses on Saturday and a comment on her latest series that read: ‘Sheeesh’ with heart eyes.  

Although Future has also moved on with rapper Dess Dior, it seemed he couldn’t resist packing in a few punches lyrically on the upcoming track.

And the slanderous comments seemed to be sparked in part by an interview Steve Harvey had with Jimmy Kimmel in which he dished on her love life and joked that before Michael he had ‘pure hatred,’ for her boyfriends. 

‘I wish my daughters would read the d**n book – that would be the smarter move,’ he said of his relationship advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. 

‘Look man when your kids grow up they can make decisions on their own. I’m just happy that I can at least approve of one,’ he continued to tell Kimmel.
