In another post the model said she was ‘starving,’ presumably because she had to fast before surgery.

The night before, Natalie alerted fans her operation was during Spine Health Awareness Week.

‘I am excited and terrified all at the same time and in crazy coincidence it’s National Spine Health Awareness Week,’ Natalie said.

She also told fans that she would be sharing her journey on YouTube soon.

Earlier this month, Natalie revealed her private battle with scoliosis and said she was preparing for spinal fusion surgery.

‘It’s getting worse. It’s going to continue to get worse,’ she said during an Instagram Q&A at the time.

‘I am constantly in a level of discomfort. There are days when I can’t ignore it.’

Scoliosis is the sideways curvature of the spine. Natalie said her spine had moved ’60 degrees’ and that made her a candidate for surgery.

Doctors will ‘removing her discs’ and replace them with artificial ones and a brace.

‘They are removing my discs, putting in fake ones and drilling a pole to my spine, so I am straight up and down again,’ Natalie explained.

Natalie said she won’t be able to work, but admitted that ‘winter’ is a much better time to undergo the procedure.
