Kyly Clarke can’t contain her excitement as daughter Kelsey Lee learns how to ride a bike

Kyly and Michael Clarke’s daughter Kelsey Lee has reached a big childhood milestone. 

Posting to her Instagram on Sunday, doting mum Kyly, 39, shared footage showing her little girl riding a bike without training wheels for the first time. 

‘So this happened today and I couldn’t be prouder,’ she began her caption.

‘Watch till the end… Happy Mum dance. Or foot slide,’ she jokingly added about the video.

In the video, Kyly is seen holding onto her daughter’s hands, before she steps away and nervously watches Kelsey make her way down the pavement at a local Sydney park. 

Kyly’s ex-husband and Kelsey’s dad, cricketer Michael Clarke, showed his support by commenting with a number of clapping hand emojis on the post. 

Kyly and Michael confirmed their separation in February last year, several months after quietly parting ways. 

‘After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to ­separate as a couple, amicably,’ they said in a joint statement at the time.

They now share joint custody with daughter Kelsey-Lee. 

The two parents have been determined to put on a united front when it comes to co-parenting Kelsey.

‘Our first priority is always Kelsey Lee’s welfare and making her feel comfortable above all else,’ former model Kyly told WHO magazine in April.

‘Michael and I have worked out a system where we each have one week on and one week off with our daughter.’

‘If something stops working and there are changes needed, we stop, reassess, and go from there.’
