House and techno producer Carl and Stereosonic festival founder Richie first bought the two-hectare empty plot of land in 2009 and commissioned architects and builders to create a lavish holiday home overlooking the picturesque countryside.

The home features an east wing where the five spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms are located.

With ample room on offer, the property can easily accommodate a large family with guests staying over.

In January, Richie said he and Carl had made the tough decision to put the holiday house on the market because they were not using it enough to justify ownership.

‘I hope the new owners will let us rent it off them,’ he told the Herald Sun.
