Even some of Justin Hartley’s This Is Us co-stars were left in the dark about the news of his recent marriage to Sofia Pernas.
Sterling K. Brown, 45, explained that he only learned about the development through the news.
‘Listen, I found out along with everyone else,’ the Frozen II actor told US Weekly on Tuesday.

Hartley, 44, and Pernas, 31, tied the knot ‘recently,’ according to a Monday report from People.
The two sparked a flurry of speculation after wearing wedding bands during their red carpet debut at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
‘And I can’t wait to hear more about it,’ Brown told the outlet.

The couple did not hide their rings on Sunday when they hit the MTV event. His was a solid gold band while she had on a diamond encrusted eternity ring.
This is not the first time they have seen with bands on. When in Malibu last month, they both had bands on, though hers was red – not diamond encrusted – at the time.
The MTV Movie & TV Awards was the first event where they walked the red carpet together.
They were snuggled up into each other’s arm for much of their time on the red carpet as they flashed the rings.

Following months of rumors, Hartley and Pernas finally went public with their romance on New Year’s Eve.
The couple previously worked together on The Young and the Restless back in 2015, and then began dating in May 2020.
This is Hartley’s first serious relationship since finalizing his divorce from Dancing With The Stars standout Chrishell Stause.
The actor cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ when he filed for divorce in November 2019, which surprised both fans and the reality star herself.

Stause would go on to file for dissolution of the marriage the following month and claim her ex-husband told her of his intent to file for divorce in a text, and that he had shared the news with her only 45 minutes before it was made public.
They reached a divorce settlement this past January but the details have not been made public.
The Selling Sunset star took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, to address ‘sources’ claiming to describe her feelings about her ex’s nuptials.
‘I see “sources” are speaking for me,’ Chrishell, 39, wrote on a text slide in her Stories, along with an eyes rolling emoji.

She finished the post off with a wild wink face emoji and an animated ‘too blessed to be stressed.’
Stause’s social media entry was prompted by an item from Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday in which sources said she ‘feels like things happened pretty fast between Justin and Sofia.
The unknown source continued, ‘She is a little surprised by their marriage. Chrishell is trying to stay positive and busy. She is focused on her real estate career, filming Selling Sunset, and surrounding herself with good friends and loved ones.’
The happy couple’s appearance at the event came just one day before Chrishell herself attended the award ceremony’s second night.
