In a video she shared with fans on Twitter, the former Countdown star, 60, joked that she was a ‘happy old scruffy bird’ while attempting to keep her hair from blowing in her face as she offered fans a glimpse of the beautiful coastline.

Carol was wrapped up warm against the chilly weather as she offered a glimpse of her flawless complexion by going makeup free during her stroll.
Filming her eye-catching surroundings, the maths guru beamed with joy as she basked in the windy setting, joking she’d ‘dressed up’ for the occasion while attempting to keep her hair out of her face.
In the video she said: ‘This old scruffy bird, happy old scruffy bird, dooesn’t get better than this it really could.
‘If I could… there’s that song isn’t there? If I could save time in a bottle I WON’T SIng it I won’t try and spoil your day!’

She added a caption reading: ‘Got actual clothes on (not leggings today)… this is called adulting… Pretending to be a grown-up today’.
