But Sonia Kruger was left horrified after watching archive footage of herself hosting a weather report in the year 2000.
The 55-year-old was left shocked by her appearance in the video, which consisted of a short blonde bob and minimal makeup.

‘Oh my gosh. That is scary,’ she said on The Anj, Rob & Robbo show.
She added: ‘That looks like my mother! Why do I look like my mother 20 years ago? I don’t understand.’
During her long career, Sonia has become somewhat of a style queen and regularly promotes her love of health and fitness.
She became a household name after being cast in the popular film, Strictly Ballroom in 1992.

Earlier this month, Sonia revealed how she landed a gig as the iconic character Tina Sparkle.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the blonde beauty admitted she was meant to be a ‘dancing extra’, but she was an ambitious girl who ‘wanted more.
Sonia said she knocked on the door of casting director, Faith Martin.

Sonia then told Faith that she was a professional dancer who had aspirations to have a speaking role in the film, too.
Faith went on to tell a young Sonia about the role of Tina Sparkle, which seemed to spark her interest, however the team wasn’t casting for another year.
Despite losing hope, Sonia said: ‘But sure enough a year later she called me up and invited me to audition for Baz and that was it. I got the part,’ she added.
