The mother-of-two said: ‘It’s quite funny that Dan can ride a PW50 motorbike but can’t ride a pushbike.

‘We got him a balance bike when he was one and he was really good. But he soon got bored so we purchased him an electric bike which he loved.

‘He loved the speed and once he got used to it his dad Daniel, 25, who rides motor cross bikes all the time, treated him to a petrol bike.

‘I was a little apprehensive as he is only 3ft 1in. But my concerns soon disappeared as he was so confident.’

His older sister India, three, loves watching her brother zoom in the park whilst she pedals behind.

She adds: ‘We got India a pushbike for her 3rd birthday and imagined it would be the same for Daniel.

‘However, he seems to have skipped that bike. We are still encouraging him to try and pedal but he will probably find it too slow.’

Sophie adds: ‘I try not to think about what could go wrong and focus on how amazing it is.

‘He is always with his dad who has done it forever so I know he is in safe hands. He has fallen off once but he was more concerned about the mud on his hands.
