Bindi Irwin celebrates her newborn daughter Grace turning two months old

Bindi Irwin has paid sweet tribute to her newborn daughter, Grace, ahead of her turning two months old later this month. 

In a post on Instagram on Friday, the 22-year-old wildlife conservationist shared a photo of herself cuddling up to her infant daughter. 

‘Our gorgeous Grace Warrior is almost two months old. She loves an afternoon walk through our Australia Zoo gardens, lots of cuddles and smiling big,’ she wrote.

Bindi revealed that her husband of a year and Grace’s dad, Chandler Powell, took the photo and added: ‘She lights up the world with her beautiful heart.’

Bindi and Chandler, 24, announced their daughter’s birth on March 26, just a day after she was born, sharing a sweet family photo.

‘March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter,’ Bindi began in a lengthy post. 

She then went on to explain the sentimental meaning behind their daughter’s unique name. 

‘Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light,’ she continued. 

‘Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. 

‘Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. 

‘Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad.’ 

She added: ‘There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.’
