Jana Kramer fears she’ll ‘resent’ ex Mike Caussin ‘for the rest of my life’ after filing for divorce

She’s admitted she’s both ashamed and angry about her divorce form Mike Caussin.

And once again on Monday, Jana Kramer focused on her personal drama as she hosted another episode of the podcast Whine Down that she used to co-host with her soon to be ex husband.

‘I fear I’m going to resent him for the rest of my life for breaking up my family,’ the One Tree Hill alum shared with her fans, according to People.

Angry: ‘I fear I’m going to resent him for the rest of my life for breaking up my family,’ Jana Kramer said on her Whine Down podcast Monday as she continued to dissect the end of her six-year marriage to Mike Caussin (she’s pictured in 2019)

Kramer, 37, filed for divorce from third husband Caussin, 34, in April citing ‘inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery.’

The pair, who wed in 2015, have two children together – daughter Jolie, five, and son Jace, two.

The actress once again insisted that she hadn’t wanted to divorce Caussin but that she knows she ‘made the right decision.’

‘There is no going back,’ she stated on her podcast. ‘This is my life. This is my kids. This is my money. My livelihood.’

She added: ‘Right now I have a lot of resentment with how things are going. I think it’s just making me angry.’

Kramer explained that Caussin had wanted to come over to the house to make birdhouses with her and their kids.

‘I went out there and then I was struck with this emotion,’ she said. ‘I was like, ‘This isn’t real. I’m not ready to do this yet.’ I’m still mad. I’d love to do that but don’t think I’m ready.’

Earlier this month, Kramer had shared on social media that she was turning to therapy and self-help books to help cope with her marriage breakup.

‘I’m trying to just really dive into books and my therapist and not put a bandaid (sic) on things because in order to fully grow you have to grieve and heal,’ she posted. ‘So, I’m, you know, trying to just be really mindful of that and not distract myself with this, that, and the other.

She also thanked her fans and social media followers for their support during the difficult time.
