TV Blackbox previously claimed KIIS FM host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was also being considered for the special edition.

The publication reported that Jackie O couple take part in the series following her successful stint on Channel 10’s The Masked Singer Australia.

Last year, Gogglebox Australia celebrated 100 episodes of the show.

It was a huge milestone for the reality series after initial doubts by so many, including the cast.

While reflecting on the past five years of filming, many of the stars said they thought the show wouldn’t work because it was just ‘people watching people watching TV’.

Fan favourites Lee and Keith said they thought it would be a flop.

‘What did I think? “Oh, it will last an episode and then we don’t have to worry about it”,’ Lee recalled.

Holding up his beer, Keith added: ‘And we’re still going magnificent Here’s cheers to 100. Here’s cheers to another 100.’
