‘All I need is a husband!’ Alison Hammond hints she’s on the lookout for love after landing a book deal to pen a memoir about her life
Alison Hammond has joked all that’s left to do after landing a three-book publishing deal is ‘find a husband’.
The This Morning star, 46, has signed a contract with both Transworld Publishers and Puffin to pen three books over the next three years.
Gushing about the achievement, Alison quipped: ‘My life is made! All I need now is a husband.’

According to The Mirror, the doting mother added: ‘I’m beyond ecstatic to not only have been given the opportunity in this lifetime to be a mother, lover, presenter, actor, dancer and singer but now I am soon to be a published author!’
Alison will pen three books – her memoir, You’ve Got To Laugh, due in October, alongside a non-fiction book due in 2022 titled Black in Time: Awesome Black Britons from Yesterday to Today, and an adult novel, scheduled for 2023.
WH Smith announced on Thursday that the TV personality’s autobiography was available to pre-order, prompting Alison to share her excitement on social media.
Retweeting a pre-order link, the mother-of-one wrote: ‘So excited!’
It’s not the first time Alison has commented on her love life this week.
Appearing on Saturday’s I Can See Your Voice, the star playfully hit back at co-star Jimmy Carr after he made a risqué joke about wanting to ‘bed’ her and Amanda Holden.

They went their separate ways in 2017, with Alison later taking part in 2020’s Celebs Go Dating.
She met technician Ben Kusi on the show and despite them briefly dating, Alison is now single.
