5SOS postpone their US tour once again, after delaying their Australian concerts

5 Seconds Of Summer have been forced to reschedule the U.S., Mexican and Canadian leg of their ‘No Shame’ tour amid the coronavirus pandemic.

5SOS, which is made up of bandmates Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford, announced the news in a Twitter post.

‘To all our friends and fans in the U.S., Mexico and Canada… as the world continues to re-open more and more on a daily basis, everyone in 5SOS is continuing to feel more positive… everyday!’ they wrote.

‘Moving forward however, it’s still important that we act with caution and safety for all. With that in mind, we will have to postpone our upcoming tour dates one more time, to a period that we can all count on,’ they continued.

5SOS’ World tour was first confirmed in early 2020, however it was delayed due to the pandemic.

But all is not lost for avid fans of the band, as they assured concertgoers that they’ll be releasing new music soon.

‘We are in the studio as we type this, so we are also happy to be working on new music to accompany the move to 2022!’

The upset comes after the boys confirmed a delay in their Aussie leg of their much-awaited concert in February.

‘In the best interest of fan safety we have decided to re-schedule our upcoming Australian dates to later in the year,’ they said in a statement at the time.

‘Please hang on to your tickets. Sorry for the wait,’ they added.
