Tom Hanks puts his arm around wife of 33 years Rita Wilson as they’re seen on an outing in LA

They have been married for over three decades and share two children.

And actor Tom Hanks was seen out and about with his wife Rita Wilson on Friday in Los Angeles, California.

The two-time Academy Award winner, 64, wore a casual athletic getup as he put his arm around his spouse’s shoulders.

Tom’s ensemble consisted of a heather gray zip jacket over a white T-shirt, and black gym shorts. 

He wore weathered black sneakers, and tinted shades. 

On his head, the Splash star wore a black baseball cap.

He masked up with a dark gray face covering in light of the continuing coronavirus pandemic. 

Hanks carried a white paper shopping bag in his hand. 

Wilson, also 64, sported a dark sweatshirt with a rocket ship illustration underneath the word Moonlight. 

She wore a camouflage bum bag and black leggings. On her feet, Rita walked along in well-worn black New Balance sneakers. 

She wore small reflective wayfarer sunglasses and went mask-free for the outing. 

Her highlighted hair hung luxuriously down over her shoulders.

The starry couple looked happy and at ease with one another as they stroll along on the sidewalk, with Rita at one point looking down and laughing.

Tom and Rita have the distinction of being among the very first celebrities to publicly come down with the coronavirus last year at the onset of the pandemic. 

They contracted it while down in Australia for a film shoot. 

Tom was busy shooting the yet-to-be-titled Elvis Presley film, directed by Baz Luhrmann.

In the film, the Philadelphia actor will portray Colonel Tom Parker.
