Australia’s showbiz super couple Bert and Patti Newton have endured numerous health woes over the years.

Patti was helped out of a vehicle by her daughter Lauren, who helped her find her balance on a knee walker/scooter.

It’s unclear why Patti was at the facility, but it’s believed Bert, 82, could be receiving treatment in the hospital.

The former singer and stage performer used a special scooter to rest her injured leg on as she wheeled herself along the pathway.

Meanwhile TV Icon Bert, 82, who also shares son Matt Newton with Patti, recently returned home from hospital following a mystery illness.

The doting grandparents recently celebrated Christmas with their daughter Lauren, her husband former competitive swimmer Matt Welsh, and their six children: Sam, 11, Eva, nine, Lola, six, Monty, three, Perla, two, and youngest Alby.

Bert sparked fears for his health last year when Patti shared a photo on Instagram of the veteran entertainer wearing a mask while lying in a hospital bed in November.

His health first became a concern in 2012 when he underwent a quadruple bypass.

In the years following the surgery, he was hospitalised three times with pneumonia and was also diagnosed with Anemia.

Anemia can make a person feel tired or weak because there are not enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to the body’s tissues.
