Kate Upton reveals two-year-old daughter Genevieve thinks her dad Justin Verlander is a pro golfer
Kate Upton revealed that her daughter Genevieve thinks her dad Justin Verlander is a golfer during an appearance Tuesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The 28-year-old model during a remote appearance was asked by Jimmy, 46, if her baseball player husband Justin has been giving their two-year-old daughter pitching tips or showing her highlight reels of his stellar career.
‘He has been showing her lots of highlight films. I’m not sure if he’s showing her highlight films because he’s not playing right now. Or if it’s because, I think she thinks he’s actually a golfer. She’s seen him golf more than she’s seen him play baseball,’ Kate said while wearing a one-shoulder black dress on the NBC talk show.

‘And so when we were watching the Masters the other day, she was like, ”Daddy! Daddy!” and I was like, ”No, that’s not what he does. He’s not that good”,’ Kate quipped.
Justin underwent surgery in March 2020 on his right groin and in July 2020 it was reported that he was being shut down by the Houston Astros with a forearm strain.
The two-time Cy Young Award winner confirmed last September that he was undergoing so-called Tommy John surgery and would miss the rest of the 2020 season, plus all of the 2021 season.
Justin was named the American League Rookie of the Year in 2006, has three career no-hitters and is an eight-time MLB All-Star.

He won his second Cy Young Award in November 2019 playing for the Astros.
Kate also gushed about Justin being a great father.
‘He’s the best dad. I mean he really is. He’s always so involved, the best partner,’ Kate said.

She joked, however, that Justin is ‘not the best dog dad’ with their new pup Norman.
‘Like he has helped almost zero with Norman, but he took almost every night shift with baby. So, I still am a little bitter about that,’ Kate said.
Kate and Justin got married in 2017 in Tuscany, Italy after three years of dating.
She was on the NBC talk show promoting her new wellness and beauty line Found Active.
