Save a hair for me now! Duran Duran star Nick Rhodes struggles to keep his unruly locks under control after being caught in a gale during alfresco lunch

He’s part of one of the most successful bands of the 1980s, selling over 100 records worldwide.

But Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes wasn’t having much success in the hair department on Wednesday as he struggled to keep his unruly locks under control as he enjoyed a rather breezy al fresco lunch at Scott’s restaurant in London.

The 58-year-old keyboardist’s silver hair looked somewhat dishevelled as he braved the wind for a chilly lunch outdoors with friends amid the easing of lockdown rules.

Nick’s attire appeared significantly smarter however, as he donned a smart black coat worn over a black jumper and white shirt.

He also wore black trousers and added a casual element to his look with monochrome lace-up trainers.

Despite the weather and his bad hair day, Nick appeared to be in good spirits as he at his meal and sipped on sparkling water at the swanky eatery.

Though he looked to be slightly disgruntled by the drizzly weather as he said goodbye to his pal before heading off.

Music legend Nick was one of the founding members of the new wave band alongside bassist John Taylor, with drummer Roger Taylor soon joining.

Lead singer Simon Le Bon and guitarist Andy Taylor made up the then five-piece’s most commercially successful line-up, though there has been many line-up changes over the years, including the departure of Andy in 1986.

Nick, Simon, John and Roger now make up the four core members in the current line-up.
