Shaynna Blaze announced in March she would be leaving Selling Houses Australia after more than a decade on the lifestyle program.

And according to The Australian, the interior designer, 58, will be replaced on the show by former House Rules judge Wendy Moore.

Shaynna announced her departure from Selling Houses Australia in March.

The interior design guru is leaving the show, which is one of Foxtel’s biggest hits, due to a schedule clash.

As reported by the Herald Sun, Selling Houses’ filming dates coincided with development of Shaynna’s upcoming ‘passion project’.

Shaynna also confirmed her departure on Twitter.

‘These are words I never thought I would be saying so I am telling you this with a heavy heart. Leaving Selling Houses Australia was a big decision for me, and one I didn’t take lightly,’ she wrote.

‘I’d hoped to be able to balance working on Selling Houses, honouring my business commitments to clients, and pursuing some other exciting upcoming projects.

‘But, once SHA’s production schedule was confirmed, it became obvious that unfortunately juggling everything was going to be too much of a stretch. Selling Houses was my very first TV gig and brought me to where I am today, and I owe the show, and Foxtel, a huge debt of gratitude.’

This is the second high-profile exit for the show after Charlie Albone left in February last year to join Better Homes and Gardens.

The announcement won’t affect her role on The Block, where she has appeared as a judge since 2012.

The professional changes come after she split from husband Steve Vaughan back in August 2018.

She told New Idea last year: ‘You reach a point you think you’re never going to hit and sometimes it’s okay to just sit there and go, ‘I can’t get out of this hole I’m in for a while’, but I can reach out to people when it gets too bad to pull me out of this swamp.’

Shaynna and Steve tied the knot 19 years ago. They had previously been dating for 11 months after meeting at a local bar in Melbourne.

She is the mother of two children, a son, Jesse Thomas, and a daughter, Carly Anne, whom she shares with her first husband.
