But cracks started to show in Zac Efron and Vanessa Valladares’ relationship just weeks before their split was confirmed this week.
Last month, the Hollywood star, 33, and the model, 25, were spotted spending time apart during a getaway to Leura, a suburb of the Blue Mountains.

During the trip, Vanessa was seen walking along a quiet street alone while exploring local shops.
Zac was later spotted stepping out for a coffee run alone after filming a segment for his new Netflix series Down to Earth.
The former couple also appeared to be distant as they went hiking and abseiling just one day earlier.

Rumours first surfaced that the actor and Byron Bay waitress had called time on their relationship on Tuesday.
Radio host Kyle Sandilands – who is good friends with Zac – then confirmed their split one day later on live radio.
Kyle told his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that he’d phoned the actor to speak about the upcoming Netflix show, Byron Baes.
When he asked his pal about the rumours, Zac apparently admitted he and Vanessa were no longer together.
Kyle said their split was ‘recent’ but not ‘yesterday recent’, and there was ‘no drama’ in their break-up.

On Wednesday, a source close to Zac told Daily Mail Australia that the couple have not only ‘100 per cent split’ but revealed the ‘final nail in the coffin’ of their relationship that led to Zac walking away.
According to the insider, Zac sent Vanessa back home to Byron Bay earlier this month after seeing media reports that she was set to star in Netflix’s controversial influencer reality series, Byron Baes.
‘He’s a very good person who wanted a genuine, normal, down-to-earth partner,’ the source said.

The source also said Zac doesn’t read media reports about him, so he was ‘very hurt’ when a friend showed him the story.
‘He is an absolutely down to earth person, not fancy, quite humble.’
