Inside every room in the Big Brother compound including a challenge area and the ‘cave’ – ahead of the highly-anticipated new season

Season two of Big Brother Australia will premiere on Channel Seven on Monday.

And ahead of its debut, the show’s host Sonia Kruger has given fans a tour of the new house.

The video released on Wednesday showed spacious communal spaces as well as the brand new diary room chair.

Housemates will share their deepest secrets with Big Brother while sitting in the new world-famous diary room, which has had a futuristic makeover.

In the centre of the room is a large blue chair, which glows in white and blue lights.

The main living space features large lounges in the centre of the room and colourful panels on the walls.

The exterior has been completely transformed with new landscaping surrounding a pool, daybed and outdoor furniture.

The compound also has two bedrooms and a revealing bathroom, with no curtains in between each of the showers.

‘It’s going to be gossip central in a beautiful new bathroom,’ Sonia said.

Last year’s green room has also been replaced with the ‘cave’, which Sonia revealed is a ‘Zen space where the housemates can relax and reset.

Additionally, there is also a massive challenge room, where contestants will compete to stay in the competition.

On Monday, Seven unveiled the 20 new housemates competing for the $250,000 cash prize, in a season that promises ‘new rules and massive twists in a house full of secrets’.

The new cast includes former Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis’ beloved mum, Mary.

Married At First Sight’s Mikey Pembroke’s ‘famous’ ex-girlfriend Katie Williams will also appear on the series.

Rising basketball player Marley Biyendolo, who played college basketball in the US and is now on the team for the Dandenong Rangers in the NBL1, will also be joining the show.

Big Brother premieres Monday 26 April at 7.30pm on Channel Seven
