Just one day after losing his beloved mother Alma, Mark Wahlberg is paying tribute to her again on social media.
The 49-year-old actor took to Instagram on Monday night, sharing a photo of the actor with his mother.
Wahlberg was sitting on a couch next to his mother, flanked by kids Ella, 17, Michael, 15, Brendan, 12, and Grace, 11.

‘Miss you grandma,’ Wahlberg said in the brief caption of his Instagram shot, along with a single red heart emoji.
He shared a photo of Alma yesterday after she had passed, stating, ‘My angel. Rest in peace.’
The actor’s brother, actor/singer Donnie Wahlberg, had previously stated that Alma had been suffering from dementia.

Donnie also shared a tribute to Alma, including a video montage with footage of them together throughout the years.
‘I’m so blessed to have been brought into this world by, raised by, taught by and set on my life’s path by, such an amazing woman,’ Donnie began.
‘My mom Alma’s joy for life, love and people — combined with a pride in her humble beginnings and refusal to forget where she came from — undoubtedly shaped me into the man that I am,’ he added.

‘I’ve often said, if you like anything about me, I got it from Alma. I say that, because it’s true,’ Donnie added.
He called her ‘the most loving human being I’ve ever known’ adding he never heard her say or do, ‘anything disrespectful to anyone.’
Donnie’s wife, Jenny McCarthy, also shared an adorable photo with Alma along with a heartfelt message.

‘To my sweet Alma. I could not have asked for a better mother-in-law. Always kind, always made me feel loved and she will always be an inspiration to so many.. Love you so much Alma,’ McCarthy said.
Fans of the stars are certainly familiar with Alma, who made frequent appearances on their show The Wahlbergers.
Together Alma and Donald had children Arthur, Paul, Jim, Robert, Donnie, Mark, Michelle, Tracey, and Debbie, who passed away in 2003, together.
