Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have reportedly learned a suspect has been arrested in connection with the terrifying home burglary they had last month.
According to reports from TMZ on Friday, LAPD officers arrested a person on Thursday for allegedly entering the couple’s home and making off with the singer’s Mercedes G-Class SUV.
It is said that law enforcement found the suspect after finding the key to Shawn’s car on their person when they arrested them over a separate trespassing call they had received last week.

Sources speaking to the publication explained that police later discovered the key was a match to Shawn’s G-Wagon.
It was also claimed that the suspect had been booked on two felonies, burglary and grand theft auto.
MailOnline has contacted Shawn and Camila’s representatives for further comment.

Reports claimed earlier this week that the robbers got the keys to the In My Blood singer’s Mercedes G-Class SUV and drove away with the pricey vehicle, which cost at least six figures, but was later returned to him.
Sources familiar with the event told TMZ that police were called and quickly arrived at Cabello and Mendes’ home, however the thieves had already departed by then.
On Monday it was revealed Shawn had been reunited with his SUV, which was taken during a home break-in last month.
The singer’s Mercedes G-Wagon was found in Beverly Hills last week and then returned to the star.

It was found parked on a residential street, with no visible signs of damage, TMZ reported at the time.
Police ran the plates and confirmed it was Shawn’s stolen vehicle.
Thieves broke into Shawn and girlfriend Camila’s residence through a window last month, the couple were home at the time.
The burglars apparently didn’t stick around long after realising the singing couple were in the house, but they managed to steal Shawn’s luxury SUV.

So far, it’s unknown if either of the singers had a run-in with the intruders before they made their hasty exit.
Cabello and Mendes have been nearly inseparable throughout the coronavirus pandemic, though they’ve mainly been staying at the former Fifth Harmony member’s home in Miami.
However, they recently switched coasts and moved into her Hollywood Hills home earlier in March.
The Cuban-born songstress purchased the centrally located house in 2019 for $3.4 million.
