Staub had frequently featured Fendi on her social media accounts, including a cooking clip on YouTube last year, saying, ‘Fendi is quite familiar with her burger – well, she should be. It’s named after her.’

She received condolences from many people including fellow Bravo alum Gretchen Rossi, who wrote, ‘So sorry … sending healing prayers.’

After being a principle player on the show’s first two seasons, Staub initially departed in season three. She came back in a limited ‘friend’ capacity over the past three seasons before she announced her exit from Real Housewives of New Jersey in January 2020 on Watch What Happens Live.

She said at the time: ‘I will be never returning as a Housewife again with the Jersey girls. I have, over the past 12 years and 10 seasons, been a part of this whole franchise and I’ve been very happy to rally and stand on a platform and be here with all of you.

‘But it is time for me to leave and do something that I want to do that makes my heart happy every day.’
