Police say girl, 12, who went missing after school in Hull has been found

  • Lilly Smith, 12, was last seen in the Orchard Park area in East Yorkshire yesterday 
  • Humberside Police later appealed for anyone with information to come forward
  • But officers have said the youngster has now been found

Police have said that a 12-year-old girl who vanished after school has now been found.

Lilly Smith was last seen in the Orchard Park area of Hull, East Yorkshire, yesterday afternoon.  

Humberside Police released a description of the youngster and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

But officers have said that Lilly has since been found.

Police took to social media earlier today with a post that read: ‘Have you seen Lily Smith, 12?

‘She was reported missing from the Orchard Park area in Hull.

‘She was last seen at around 3.30pm on April 7.

‘Lily is described as wearing a black jacket, leggings and trainers.

‘If you’ve seen her, please call 101 quoting log 572 of 07/04/21.’

But officers have since confirmed that Lilly has been found.
