Ben Affleck and George Clooney were spotted filming at a Boston baseball field on Wednesday.
The 48-year-old actor appeared to be getting back to his younger days as he took to the outfield while the 59-year-old director hit a few balls towards his leading man.
The two are currently hard at work with principal photography on The Tender Bar, which is the From Dusk Till Dawn star’s eighth directorial effort.

Affleck looked spry as he wore an orange shirt bearing a graphic for The Dickens, which serves as the upcoming movie’s central bar.
The Gone Girl star also stayed comfortable in a pair of black shorts, knee-high tube socks and a pair of Puma athletic shoes.
He also donned a pair of vintage sunglasses for part of the day’s filming.

Clooney kept it casual on the film’s set as he wore a pair of blue jeans and white Adidas sneakers underneath a dark gray zip-up sweater.

The Tender Bar is based on the 2005 memoir of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer JR Moehringer.
The story follows the author during his early years in New York City, as he searches for his father while growing closer to his uncle and a group of locals at a nearby bar.
Other performers who are involved with the project include Tye Sheridan, Lily Rabe and Christopher Lloyd.
Development on The Tender Bar began in 2013 with Hidden Figures director Theodore Melfi set to helm the film, although he later exited the project.

After several years of difficulties, Amazon Studios acquired the rights to the project in July of 2020, with Clooney being confirmed to spearhead the feature in December of that year.
Affleck’s casting was confirmed the following February, with much of the rest of the cast being added last month.
Clooney and The Tender Bar’s leading man previously collaborated on the 2012 film Argo, on which the Leatherheads director served as a producer.
Principal photography on the upcoming project began earlier this year at various locations in and around Boston.
The forthcoming film currently does not have a set release date.
