He wrapped filming on the latest series of Saturday Night Takeaway over the weekend.

And Ant McPartlin was enjoying some downtime as he headed out with fiancée Anne-Marie Corbett to walk their pet dogs on Wednesday.

The presenter, 45, bundled up against the chilly weather as he headed out, hours after it was revealed his best friend Declan Donnelly’s home was targeted by a ‘professional’ burglar gang.

Ant cut a casual figure in a green windcheater jacket as he stepped out with his wife-to-be Anne-Marie and their beloved dogs.

The Britain’s Got Talent host braced the surprisingly cold weather during the outing, with Anne-Marie wrapped up in a thick green padded coat.

His outing comes just hours after it was revealed that Dec’s £5million home was targeted by a ‘professional’ burglary gang while the TV star was asleep upstairs with his wife and young daughter.

Police rushed to the star’s West London home shortly after 1am on Tuesday following a 999 call.

Dec, his wife Ali, 43, and their daughter Isla, two, were all asleep upstairs in the seven-bedroom home.

The suspects had botched an attempt to rip open the iron gates at the front of the property – which was purchased by Dec for £1.9 million in 2006, and fled in a car shortly before officers arrived.

The Donnellys were only aware that the burglars – understood to have been a ‘professional’ gang – targeted their home when the police told them.

A source told The Sun: ‘Dec and Ali weren’t disturbed. The first they realised anything was amiss was in the morning.’

‘The robbers couldn’t force the gates open and that’s what made them give up, and flee.’

Met Police officers conducted inquiries along the street today and forensic checks were carried out.

The force confirmed that the suspects left the scene prior to police arriving and there was no evidence to suggest they gained access to the house.

Ant’s engagement to Anne-Marie was announced on New Year’s Eve after he popped the question in a romantic Christmas Eve proposal.

It’s thought that the presenter may have paid up to £200,000 for the ring after designing the piece himself.

Tobias Kormind, managing director of Europe’s largest online diamond jeweller 77 Diamonds, said: ‘It’s a very romantic design that harks back to an older style.

‘A ring with a diamond of similar quality currently on our website is priced at £125,000. A traditional Mayfair jeweller might charge up to £200,000.’

And the ring is certainly bigger than the one the I’m a Celebrity presenter gave his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong, from whom he split in 2018 after a 12-year marriage.
