They both signed up for Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight in a bid to find love.
And it appears Jake Edwards and Patrick Dwyer also formed a close friendship with each other, as they were spotted grabbing coffee together during a break from filming in mid-November.
Daily Mail Australia spotted the Melbourne-based grooms chatting as they visited a café in Sydney’s CBD the morning after a long shoot.

Charity CEO Jake, 32, looked to be in good spirits and at one stage posed for the paparazzi with his arm around his co-star’s shoulders.
He showed off his tattooed frame in a black sleeveless hoodie, which he paired with grey workout shorts and black sneakers.
Meanwhile, personal trainer Patrick, 29, opted for a grey hoodie and black jeans.

The sighting comes after Jake admitted he was blindsided by his wife Beck Zemek’s decision to leave the experiment on Monday night.
‘It was a shock and certainly a surprise because behind the scenes, Beck and I were pretty close leading up to that commitment ceremony,’ Jake, 33, told Today Extra.
‘I was keen to see it right through to the end. We had come so far in the experiment and we worked through a lot together,’ he added.

Jake went on to say he and Beck had ‘challenges around affection’ but he had been determined to make their relationship work.
‘It was difficult, we certainly had a challenge around how intimate we were around each other but I was committed to working on the relationship,’ he explained.
Patrick and his wife, Belinda Vickers, both chose to ‘stay’ during the show’s final commitment ceremony.
